K'naan is one of the few selection of my favorite rap artists. Or maybe he's the only rap artist that touch my heart like no one else. Usually when it comes to rap, it will either involve booze, sex or drug; the most useless aspects anyone could ever draw their inspiration from. Not to mention painfully repetitive. I consider rap to be a very powerful type of song, since it can be used to effectively voice out anger and dissatisfaction in life. Take our very own Namewee for instance, or Eminem. But K'naan's song "Take a Minute" is exceptional. I love his way with words, and I love the overwhelming emotions he placed into his songs. This one tug at my heart-string and made me cry.
